Master in Computer Science
Two years to become a complete software engineer: you build every layer of a system yourself, from the logic gate to the distributed service, then specialise in one of the six major computing careers. Lots of practice, challenges all year round and a project for a real client.
Year by year.

Semester 2 courses open as they are released, included in your enrolment. Year 2 enrolment opens with its courses.
Challenges all year, from the first intake.
Everyone can read the problems; submitting and joining the leaderboard need an account. Enrolled students carry the master’s badge on the leaderboards.
4 original problems a week, from level A to level D, over a 12-week season; monthly leaderboard.
One challenge a month (interpreter, rate limiter, LRU cache, bus routes, compression, bank reconciliation), graded on hidden tests.
A capture-the-flag scenario: web, cryptography, forensics, reverse engineering, OSINT, all simulated in the browser; solo or in teams.
Three weeks in teams on a theme (agriculture, health, city, fintech), before a panel.
How you learn
- Lessons delivered at the board by your AI trainer, in French or English
- In every course, a project built from scratch: a computer from logic gates, a shell, a compiler, a database, a replicated service…
- Interactive labs, automatic grading and AI code review
- Challenges all year from the first intake: a weekly algorithms arena, a monthly “build it” challenge, a CTF and a hackathon every quarter
- Short defences of the flagship projects, and a final exam per course
Target careers
- Back-end or full-stack developer
- Software architect, tech lead
- Data scientist, machine learning engineer, data engineer
- Penetration tester, SOC analyst, security engineer
- DevOps, cloud or site reliability engineer
- Embedded, IoT or network engineer
- IT project manager, product manager, IS consultant
Prerequisites
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, physics or engineering; or a working developer who already codes. An online entry test places everyone; a bridging module (Python, Linux, Git, discrete maths) is included if needed.
Master’s certificate
Kalan master’s certificate (not a state degree): every Year 1 course, the cross-track courses and one Year 2 track, capstone included.
